After 20 years in public education—rising from teacher to high school principal—I hit a wall. I was constantly pouring into others while quietly running on empty. Outwardly, I looked like I had it all together. But inside, I was exhausted and disconnected from myself.

It wasn’t just burnout—it was misalignment. I realized my ambition didn’t have to come at the cost of my well-being.

That’s when I turned to breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation—not as a luxury, but as a lifeline. I learned that pausing isn’t about slowing down. It’s about making space for what truly matters.
